Why is my store not connecting?

If your store is not connecting to ExportYourStore, the issue is usually related to your browser, extension, or marketplace authorization.

A failed connection can prevent importing, exporting, and syncing products.


Common Reasons Your Store May Not Connect

The most common causes are:

  • Browser cache needs to be cleared

  • Browser is outdated

  • Chrome extension is missing or disabled

  • Store token needs to be renewed

  1. Clear Your Browser Cache

    Old browser cache or cookies can block the connection.

    Clear your browser cache, then reopen your browser and try connecting again.

  2. Make Sure Your Browser Is Updated

    ExportYourStore works best on the latest browser version.

    Recommended browser:

    Google Chrome

    An outdated browser may cause connection problems.

  3. Check That the Chrome Extension Is Installed

    The ExportYourStore Chrome extension must be installed and enabled.

    If the extension is missing or disabled, your store may fail to connect.

  4. Renew Your Store Connection

    Your marketplace authorization may have expired.

    Go to your connected stores and reconnect the marketplace to refresh the token.

If the Issue Continues

Try:

  • Restarting your browser

  • Logging out and signing in again

  • Reconnecting the store completely
