Get Started with ExportYourStore: Create an Account, Download the Extension, & Connect Your Marketplaces

We'll walk you through the initial setup of ExportYourStore.

This guide will walk you through the initial setup of ExportYourStore. By the end of this process, you will have:

✅Created your ExportYourStore account

✅Installed the ExportYourStore browser extension

✅Connected your marketplaces

✅Prepared your account to start importing and exporting listings

This setup usually takes only a few minutes.

Step 1: Create Your ExportYourStore Account 👤

To create your account:

  1. Login using Google/Apple or manually enter:

    • Email address

    • Password

  2. Confirm your email address

  3. Log in to your dashboard

Once your account is created, you will be able to access the ExportYourStore dashboard.


Step 2: Download and Install the Browser Extension 🧩

The ExportYourStore browser extension is required because it enables marketplace communication during imports and exports.

Install the extension:

  1. Head over to our Chrome Web Store

  2. Add the extension to Google Chrome

  3. Once installed, you will see the ExportYourStore icon in your browser toolbar.

Important note:

Keep the extension enabled and updated to ensure your listings import and export correctly.


Step 3: Connect your Source and Target Marketplace

Next, you will connect the marketplaces you want to use with ExportYourStore.

ExportYourStore works by connecting:

  • Source Store → where your original listings exist

    Sample:

    • Amazon

    • Shopify

  • Target Store → where listings will be exported

    Sample:

    • Walmart

    • eBay

    • Etsy

    • Facebook Marketplace

Connecting Your Source Store

There are multiple ways to connect a source store in ExportYourStore, depending on how the user signs up or what they want to do next.

1. Connect a Source Store During Registration

When you create a new account, you will be guided through the setup wizard to connect your first source store. Once connected, the source store becomes the primary location from which products are imported and managed.


2. Connect a Source Store via Shopify Installation

If you currently install ExportYourStore directly through Shopify, the store is automatically connected as the source store and you can immediately start importing and managing products in our app.


3. Add an Additional Source Store (After Setup)

You can also add more source stores after completing the initial setup.

Option A: From the Header Dropdown

  • Use the source store dropdown in the header

  • Select the option to add a new source store

  • Follow the same connection and authorization process

Option B: From the Channels Section

  • Navigate to Channels

  • Click “Add Source”

  • Connect a new store just like in the initial setup

👉 This option is useful when:

  • Expanding to multiple source stores

  • Managing products from different platforms

  1. Click Add Source.

  2. Select your marketplace and complete the login authentication.

  3. Once the source store is connected, ExportYourStore will automatically begin importing your listings.

  4. Next, click Add Target Marketplace and complete the login authentication.

  5. After all stores are connected, they will appear in the Channels Page section.

ExportYourStore will sync your listings from the source to the target marketplaces.
