How to resolve errors on Facebook Shop integration?

When syncing products to Facebook Shop, you may encounter upload errors or warnings during feed processing. These issues can be reviewed and fixed using your feed report inside Commerce Manager.

Step 1: Check Feed Upload Status

After your product feed is uploaded:

  • Go to your feed in ExportYourStore

  • Check the upload status

  • Click View Report

This report shows whether your upload completed successfully or if any warnings or errors occurred.

📌 The report provides detailed error messages that help identify what needs to be fixed.

Step 2: Review Error Details

Inside the report, you can see:

  • Which products failed to upload

  • Which fields caused the error

  • The reason for rejection

Example Error:

  • Missing Shipping Weight

  • Missing required field like ID

  • Invalid product attributes

📌 If shipping-related fields are missing, refer to:
How shipping information exports between marketplaces?

In the other report details below, we can see which fields triggered the error. In our example, the field “id” was blank for the product, and it could not be uploaded.

We’ll fix this error by going back to the product feed on ExportYourStore and ensuring that it’s mapped with the correct attribute or value.

Once we’ve resolved the issue with the feed in ExportYourStore, we’ll go back to the “Data Sources” page on Facebook and click on the feed with the error.

We’ll manually trigger an update in order to upload the corrected feed to Facebook by clicking “Upload Now”.

Lastly, if you still find it complex to fix the error message and needs more custom changes then don't hesitate to message and contact us for support.
