Amazon Listing Status Troubleshooting: Not Listed, Failed, Suppressed, Inactive & Missing Offers

Written by Melanie

When managing Amazon products through ExportYourStore, it's important to distinguish between the upload status in EYS and the listing status on Amazon.

1. Understanding ExportYourStore Statuses

Not Listed

What it means: The product upload has not yet been attempted through ExportYourStore.

What to do: Select the product and initiate the Upload action to send it to Amazon.

Listed

What it means: The upload was attempted successfully, and the product is listed and live on Amazon.

What to do: No action is required unless you notice an issue with the listing on Amazon.

Failed

What it means: The upload was attempted but failed due to an error.

What to do: Hover over the Failed status icon in ExportYourStore to view the exact error. Correct the issue and upload the product again.

2. Understanding Amazon Listing Statuses

Even when a product shows as Listed in ExportYourStore, it is important to check its actual status in Amazon Seller Central.

Search Suppressed

What it means: Amazon has suppressed the listing from search results because it does not meet certain listing requirements.

Common causes:

  • Missing product information or required attributes

  • Non-compliant images

  • Incorrect or incomplete listing content

How to fix:

  • Check the suppressed listing details in Seller Central.

  • Correct the issues identified by Amazon.

  • Update the product in ExportYourStore and initiate Upload again, if required.

Inactive

What it means: The listing exists on Amazon but is currently unavailable for purchase.

Common causes:

  • Zero available inventory

  • Missing or invalid pricing

  • Fulfillment or account-related issues

  • Product restrictions or missing approvals

How to fix:

  • Check the listing status and reason in Seller Central.

  • Verify price, inventory, and fulfillment settings.

  • Resolve any account or product restrictions.

  • Use Sync Price, Inventory, or Upload in ExportYourStore as required.

Missing Offer

What it means: The product exists in Amazon's catalog, but your seller offer is missing or incomplete.

Common causes:

  • Missing or invalid selling price

  • Missing inventory quantity

  • Offer information not successfully processed

  • Incorrect SKU or ASIN association

How to fix:

  • Verify the SKU, ASIN, price, and fulfillment information.

  • Check the relevant offer attributes and mapping in ExportYourStore.

  • Initiate Sync Price and Inventory, or use Upload to resubmit the product data.

  • Check Seller Central for any remaining errors.

Important Notes

  • Listed in EYS does not always mean the product is searchable or available for purchase on Amazon.

  • Always check Amazon Seller Central for the actual listing and offer status.

  • Some issues require corrections or approvals directly in Seller Central.

  • Allow Amazon time to process updates after resubmission.
