Steps to Create a Sync Rule
Go to the Products page in your ExportYourStore dashboard.
Click Rules.
In the sidebar, click More Rules → Syncing Products.
Here you have two options:
1. Sync Only Specific Products
Only the products or categories you select will be synced and exported to the target marketplace.
All other products will remain in your ExportYourStore catalog but will not be sent to the target store.
2. Ignore Products
Specific products or categories will never be exported, even if auto-export is enabled.
These items remain in your ExportYourStore catalog but do not affect the target store.
Choosing Products or Categories
Use the available filters to select the products you want to sync or ignore.
Example filters for a syncing rule:
Category Name contains “New Products”
Category Name contains “Sold”
Category Name contains “Clothing”
After setting your conditions, click Create Rule, then Save Changes.
Managing Sync Rules
All active syncing rules will appear in your Syncing Products Rule List.
You can edit, disable, or create additional rules anytime.
Example
Sync only specific products
Only items in the “New Products” and “Clothing” categories will export.\
Ignore products
Items in the “Sold” category will remain in your catalog but will never export.
This feature gives you full control over which products are exported to each marketplace, helping you customize listings per channel and avoid selling products where you don’t want them to appear.
