Facebook automatically processes and adjusts product images. If your images don’t match the recommended ratios, they may appear stretched or cropped incorrectly.

Image Size Requirements

For Shops, Carousel Ads, and Collection Ads

  • Aspect Ratio: 1:1 (square)

  • Minimum Size: 500 × 500 px

  • Recommended: 1024 × 1024 px

For Single Image Ads

  • Aspect Ratio: 1.91:1

  • Minimum Size: 500 × 500 px

  • Recommended: 1200 × 628 px

You can control how your images are displayed in Facebook Commerce Manager.

Steps:

  1. Go to Commerce Manager

  2. Open your Catalog

  4. Find Image Cropping Settings

  5. Choose your preferred option

  6. Click Save

  • May crop edges of your product

2. Show Entire Image in Frame

  • Crops and resizes the image

  • Best for images with white or transparent backgrounds
