If you were charged while on a free trial, it is usually due to how Shopify handles app billing.
How the Free Trial Works
ExportYourStore typically offers:
7-day free trial
Up to 10 listings during the trial
After the trial ends, the selected subscription plan will begin automatically.
Why You Were Charged
Shopify billing works differently from direct website subscriptions.
Shopify automatically charges for apps after the free trial ends
This applies to all plans (Starter, Growth, Business, Enterprise)
Charges are added to your Shopify billing account
📌 This is standard behavior for all apps installed on Shopify.
Important: Uninstalling the App
If you decide not to continue using ExportYourStore:
👉 You must uninstall the app before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Simply cancelling inside the app is not enough on Shopify.
How to Stop Future Charges
Go to your Shopify admin
Open Apps
Uninstall ExportYourStore
📌 Once uninstalled, you will no longer be billed through Shopify.
