How to resolve Invalid Values when exporting to Depop?

When exporting products to Depop, some categories require additional listing details before the product can be exported successfully.

Common required fields include:

  • Size

  • Color

  • Marketplace-specific attributes

📌 Some categories may not require Color, depending on the product type.


Why This Happens

Different categories on Depop have required values that must be completed before a listing can go live.

If these fields are missing, you may see an Invalid Values error during export.


Option 1: Fill in Missing Fields Manually

  1. Select the product from your Products page

  2. Click Edit to open product details on our Listing Editor

  3. Fill in the required missing values such as Size or Color

Once completed, save the product and export again.


Option 2: Create a Rule

If you want to apply the same value to multiple products:

  1. Go to Products

  2. Click Rules

  3. Go to Appearance and then Item Specifics

  4. Create a rule for required values such as Size or Color

This helps update multiple listings at once.


Option 3: Use Export with AI

To save time, you can use Export with AI.
