Different marketplaces has different rules. Amazon limits the titles to max 200 characters, where Etsy limits it to 140, and Poshmark to 80.
To overcome this issue we have a few options.
Edit the product on ExportYourStore
Manually editing the product on ExportYourStore will not update your listing on the source platform, thus a good option if you want to keep your title different on the source platform and the platform you're exporting to.
To do that, find the product you want to edit on the Products page and click the Quick edit button.
In the quick edit window, change the title and hit Save, or Save & Export if you wish to export the product to the target marketplace.
Use rules to remove certain words from all titles automatically
On the toolbar above the products table, click the Rules button. On the sidebar menu navigate to Appearance -> Title and create a new "Remove words" rule. To learn more about using rules, read this article.
Use the bulk-edit tool
Select the products you want to edit, open the Bulk edit menu on the toolbar above the products table and select Edit titles. Use the rule that fits your scenario best.
Edit the product on the Source platform
Editing the product on the source platform is also an option. Simply edit your product then re-import to ExportYourStore it using the re-import bulk action.
